What to expect
New clients are asked to complete a couple of forms pertaining to personal information and pet health history. Although we do see walk-ins, appointments are seen first, unless it is an emergency.
Our surgeries are done weekday mornings and most of our surgical patients can go home the same day. We will send home any meds and post-surgical care instructions. We also take care of our "drop-off" patients in the morning so they can go home in the afternoon.
Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. We understand that some things are not budgeted, and we will be happy to give you an estimate before we proceed.
It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Reed can still work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, Dr. Reed will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
Payment Options
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
We accept debit cards, all major credit cards, checks, and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. We do not accept checks on your first visit.
Prescription Refills
If your pet needs a refill on his prescription medication, you can either call us or email with the following information: your name, your pet's name, and the name of the medication that needs to be refilled.
